Prostate cancer (PCa) is a ubiquitous disease, found worldwide at autopsy in 30% of men in their 60s. PCa is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. High-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HG-PIN) is an abnormality of the prostatic glands that can precede the development of PCa. Green tea extracts have previously been demonstrated to reduce serum PCa biomarkers.
